Take contrast sensing to a new level of accuracy and speed.   These new Laser Contrast Sensors from Wenglor and Electronic Solutions Inc. have an incredibly high switching frequency (20 kHz) making them excellent for detecting fast moving products.

These sensors are very well equipped, having an on-delay or off-delay timer built in and an LED to show the switching state of the sensor. No separate amplifier is required, and the small physical size (50 mm x 50 mm x 20 mm) allows for mounting in spaces where many other sensors will not fit.

Class II laser light is used so that no special eye protection is required while working with this sensor. The visible beam spot makes alignment of the sensor very simple.
